A new operation was organized within the scope of the corruption investigation carried out by the Kırıkkale Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Yahşihan Municipality.
Following the expansion of the investigation, all 9 suspects for whom detention orders were issued were captured in operations carried out simultaneously in two provinces.
16 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED IN THE FIRST OPERATION
Within the scope of the investigation, judicial proceedings were taken against 37 suspects in operations carried out in four provinces on September 24.
Among them are former mayors A.S. While 16 people, including O.T. and O.T., were arrested, house arrest was imposed on 4 suspects, and various judicial control measures were imposed on 16 people. An arrest warrant was also issued for a suspect.
In the investigation, which was expanded in line with new evidence, suspect statements, financial analysis reports, expert examinations, title deed and vehicle records and findings in zoning files were evaluated.
In this context, detention orders were issued for 9 suspects. All suspects were detained in operations carried out in two provinces at 06.30 upon the instructions of the prosecutor's office.
MEASURES TO SEIZURE HUNDREDS OF IMMOVABLE PROPERTY
Within the scope of the operation, Yahşihan Municipality service building and the suspects' houses and vehicles were searched.
Within the framework of the investigation, Yahşihan Mayor A.D. was appointed by proxy. 11 registered in the name of, Deputy Mayor S.S.Y. Registered in the name of 1630, Municipal Council Member F.D. 32 registered in his name and Municipal Council Member Ö.H. 22 immovable properties registered in his name were confiscated.
In the file, E.B., the wife of former Zoning Director U.B., who is under investigation for allegedly being the leader of the organization. 83 registered in his name, his mother-in-law A.D. 122 registered in his name, his sister-in-law C.D. 122 registered in his name and A.Ö. 9 real estate registered in his name were also seized.
Also C.D. A.Ö. with a car registered in his name. A seizure measure was also taken against the luxury jeep registered in his name.
THE CLAIM THAT THE ARRESTED MAYOR HAD A "SAFE"
In some of the statements taken within the scope of the investigation, it was learned that there were allegations that Deputy Mayor S.S.Y. was handling the financial affairs of Mayor A.S., who was suspended from duty and arrested, and that he had a "safe".
The prosecutor's office used S.S.Y. in order to hide the assets of the immovable properties in question. It was stated that he was investigating whether it was worn or not.
During the search carried out at S.S.Y.'s house, an unlicensed 9-millimeter pistol without a serial number, 11 thousand 312 pistol cartridges, a mobile phone, a laptop, an external disk and a memory card were seized.
DETECTIONS OF CONTRADICTIONS WITH THE LEGISLATION IN DEVELOPMENT FILES
Within the scope of the investigation, the zoning operations of Yahşihan Municipality were also examined.
In the expert report, it was stated that 5 of the 7 zoning files prepared by the municipality were returned by the Cadastre Directorate due to violations of the legislation.
During the investigations, it was determined that some technical documents could not be found in the municipal archives, that park areas were tried to be registered as land in the name of the municipality, and that repeated attempts were made to create them.
Former Mayor A.S. It was learned that it was also investigated whether some of the construction works, which were considered to have been started during the period, continued in the following period.
