Within the scope of the corruption investigation carried out by the Kırıkkale Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Yahşihan Municipality; An operation was carried out in 4 provinces on September 24. Judicial action was taken against 37 suspects. Among them are former mayors A.S. 16 suspects, including O.T. and O.T., were arrested. House arrest was imposed on 4 suspects and various judicial control measures were imposed on 16 people. An arrest warrant was also issued for a suspect.
THE INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN EXPANDED
The investigation was expanded in line with the new evidence obtained. Upon evaluation of the statements taken within the scope of the investigation, financial analysis reports, expert examinations, title deed and vehicle records and findings in the zoning files, a detention order was issued for 9 suspects.
On the instructions of the prosecutor's office, a simultaneous operation was organized in 2 provinces today at 06.30. All 9 suspects were caught during the operation.
'THE BOX OF THE ARRESTED MAYOR' CLAIM
Within the scope of the operation, Yahşihan Municipality service building and the suspects' houses and vehicles were searched. By proxy, Yahşihan Mayor A.D. 11 registered in the name of, Deputy Mayor S.S.Y. Registered in the name of 1630, Municipal Council Member F.D. 32 registered in his name and Municipal Council Member Ö.H. 22 immovable properties registered in his name were confiscated.
83 PROPERTIES REGISTERED IN THE NAME OF THE FORMER ZONING MANAGER'S WIFE, 122 IN THE NAME OF HIS MOTHER-IN-LAW AND 122 IN THE NAME OF HIS SISTER-IN-LAW.
In the file, 83 registered in the name of E.B., the wife of former Zoning Director U.B., who is under investigation for allegedly being the manager of the organization, and her mother-in-law A.D. 122 registered in his name, his sister-in-law C.D. 122 registered in his name and A.Ö. 9 real estate registered in his name were also seized. Also C.D. A.Ö. with a car registered in his name. A measure was taken to confiscate the luxury jeep registered in his name. It was learned that in some of the statements taken, there were allegations that Deputy Mayor S.S.Y. was handling the financial affairs of Mayor A.S., who was suspended from duty and arrested, and that he had a 'safe'.
The prosecutor's office, in order to hide the assets of the immovable properties in question, S.S.Y. He is investigating whether it is worn or not. During the search at S.S.Y.'s house, an unlicensed 9-millimeter pistol without a serial number, 11 thousand 312 pistol cartridges, a mobile phone, a laptop, an external disk and a memory card were seized.
DEVELOPMENT FILES ARE BEING EXAMINED
Within the scope of the investigation, the zoning operations of Yahşihan Municipality were also examined. In the expert report, it was stated that 5 of the 7 zoning files prepared by the municipality were returned by the Cadastre Directorate due to violations of the legislation. During the investigations, it was determined that some technical documents could not be found in the municipal archives, that park areas were tried to be registered as land on behalf of the municipality, and that repeated attempts were made to create them. It was learned that it was also investigated whether some of the construction works, which were considered to have been started during the period, continued in the following period.
