The wave of censorship that turned into a tsunami also came to the agenda in the NEW Party MYK.

It has been learned that the NEW Party will intensify the fight against the regulation, which it describes as "censorship authority" and which gives the Cyber ​​Security Directorate the authority to block access to internet content ex officio.

In this context, it was learned that NEW Party Chairman Özgür Özel and many party members accompanying him will meet in front of the Constitutional Court on October 7 (today).

It was stated that citizens and NGOs will also be invited to the action to put the application requested for the suspension and cancellation of the regulation on the agenda of the Constitutional Court.

All citizens were invited to the protest in front of the Constitutional Court.

NEW Party member Zeliha Aksaz Şahbaz announced the action in her post on her X account and said, "Protect your freedom! Say stop to censorship!" he said and continued:

"Access to the social media accounts of journalists, academics, economists, civil society representatives and citizens is being blocked one by one. We will not remain silent against this censorship system in which law and judicial control are disabled."
