NEW Party Made Statements on the Fund Crisis

MEHTAP GÖKDEMİR / ANKARA - Accordingly, the NEW Party will not remove the 'fund crisis' from the agenda in the Turkish Grand National Assembly and in the field. MPs will be given new field duties. Both field and Parliament work will continue together. There will be no polemics or discussions with the CHP. An image such as "They are fighting outside, embracing each other inside" will not be created.

'Center of emphasis'

Party Spokesperson Zeynel Emre, in the press conference he held after the Central Executive Board, referred to the "fund crisis" and claimed, "We know that the center of this emphasis is the Justice and Development Party Headquarters." In response to the question about AK Party's Serkan Bayram's recent statements that his first statements about the fund crisis were misinterpreted, Emre said, "The statements he made were correct. I am sure they put a lot of pressure on him, and Mr. Serkan had to make such a statement."

'Cemil Tugay can pass'

Emre, who was also asked about Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay's claim that he will join the AK Party, said, "Can he pass? He can pass. He has no communication with our Chairman, with us. That's why there is information that he will join."
