New Party is heading to the presidential primary election before the congress

A primary election will be held for the chairmanship of the New Party before the 1st Ordinary Congress to be held on 14-15 November.

3 thousand ballot boxes will be set up in the party's provincial and district headquarters in 81 provinces. Chairman Özgür Özel, who will participate in the primary election as the only candidate, shared his 17-title work program for the new term.

During the congress process of the New Party, which started on August 26, primary elections were held for the provincial and district administrations with the participation of the members, and then the congresses were completed with the votes of the delegates.

Anyone who was a member of the party before November 5 will be able to vote in the general presidential primary election.

In his statement on his social media account, Özel stated that they have established a new system in which the members have the say, decision and authority and said, "Let's take the first big step of the new generation of politics together." He called with his words.

ANNOUNCED 17 TITLED WORK PROGRAM

Announcing the 17-headed work program before the congress, Özel said that they aim to expand the social support of the party, increase the participation of members in decision-making processes and create cadres ready for power.

The program included the goals of electing the party's presidential candidate in the first elections and obtaining a majority in the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

MORE THAN A THOUSAND DELEGATES WILL VOTE AT THE CONGRESS

Following the presidential primary election, more than a thousand delegates will vote at the 1st Ordinary Congress to be held on 14-15 November.

At the two-day congress, the chairman of the party, the 80-member Party Assembly and the 15-member High Disciplinary Board will be determined.
