An international report monitors the impact of the intensified Russian strikes on Ukraine's gross domestic product this year
The World Bank warned that the intensification of Russian strikes on vital infrastructure in Ukraine will lead to a slowdown in economic growth to 1.2% in 2026, the lowest rate in the past four years, with expectations of growth of 1.5% in 2027 and 3% in 2028, amid a severe financial crisis and an expected financing deficit of up to $54 billion by 2029.
