Germany's Interior Minister, Nancy Faeser, presented statistics on politically motivated crimes in 2025, highlighting a 42% increase in left-wing extremist violence. Despite this rise, right-wing extremism remains the primary threat, accounting for a larger number of violent acts and other offenses. The total number of politically motivated crimes reached an unprecedented 86,000.
