President of Kazakhstan Tokayev announced his readiness to contribute to achieving peace in Russia

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced his intention to do everything possible to ensure stability in the country and contribute to achieving peace in Russia.

He emphasized the importance of a common border with Russia, the presence of a Russian community and the Orthodox Church in Kazakhstan when assessing relations with Russia.

BERLIN, September 29 - RIA Novosti. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that he intends to do everything possible to ensure stability in his country and make a feasible contribution to achieving peace in Russia.

“As president, I will do everything possible to ensure peace and stability in my country, in order to make a feasible contribution - I do not exaggerate my capabilities - to achieving peace and ending the war in the territory adjacent to Kazakhstan,” Tokayev said at a press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

The head of Kazakhstan added that when assessing relations with Russia, it is necessary to take into account the common border of 7,597 kilometers, the presence of a significant Russian community in the republic and the presence of the Orthodox Church. According to Tokayev, all these factors cannot be ignored.
