A British man lost his penis to cancer and is now getting it back

40-year-old British resident Paul Lucas said that he lost his penis due to cancer. The Sun reports this.

According to Lucas, in June 2022, he noticed a strange formation under the foreskin. Soon he began to have discharge with an odor reminiscent of rotten fish, and he was in severe pain. Two months later, his wife took him to the doctor. He was diagnosed with penile cancer.

In October of the same year, the man required surgery. According to him, he was sure that only part of his penis would be removed. However, when he woke up from anesthesia, he discovered that he no longer had genitals. The new life seemed terrible to him.

The man admitted that he was disgusted to look at himself. In addition, he felt guilty towards his wife. She looked after him, changed bandages and catheters, and he felt that he had ruined her sex life.

Lucas said his lack of a penis forces him to urinate while sitting down, so men's toilets have become a real problem for him. “Many of them are dirty, there is no toilet paper, there are few stalls, and the locks don’t work,” he said.

The man learned that a lost penis could be reconstructed and jumped at the chance. At the first stage, a new phallus and urethra were made for him, at the second, the head will be reconstructed, and at the third, a special device will be installed to maintain an erection.

Lucas is now awaiting the second stage. He compares the penis that he now has to the nose of an anteater. According to him, he even had sex with his wife using it. “Sensitivity has not yet returned, and full recovery of erotic sensations will take years, but it was an incredible and very emotional experience,” he admitted.
