As a benchmark platform for cross-Strait economic, trade and cultural exchanges, the Jiangxi-Taiwan Forum has gone through its 20th session and witnessed the continued deepening and fruitful results of cross-Strait cooperation.

Xia Liyan, former vice chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang and president of the Cross-Strait Economic, Trade and Cultural Exchange Association, said that the 20th term is not just a number. Behind it is more than 20 years of joint investment and continuous accumulation of exchanges by people from all walks of life on both sides of the strait, which proves that exchanges and cooperation are in line with the common interests and expectations of the people on both sides of the strait.

Official data shows that the Jiangxi-Taiwan Fair has received more than 14,000 Taiwanese businessmen; Taiwan continues to rank as the second largest source of overseas investment and the top ten trading partners in Jiangxi Province.

It drove upstream and downstream industrial clusters, created a large number of high-quality employment opportunities, and achieved co-frequency resonance between industry and city.

In the view of many Taiwanese businessmen, cultural identity gives long-lasting vitality to economic and trade cooperation. "Ganxi and Taiwan have profound historical roots in Hakka, ceramics, academies, religion and other fields. Through cultural exchanges, we find more common languages, enhance understanding, reduce misunderstandings, and enhance mutual trust." Xia Liyan said.

The tourism industry in both places looks forward to continuing to deepen cooperation. Wu Yingliang, chairman of the Taiwan Travel Business Association, said that last year, 68,200 Taiwan compatriots visited Jiangxi, and the number of Taiwan compatriots traveling to Jiangxi is getting younger and younger.

Jiang Jiang, general manager of Jiangxi Everbright International Travel Service Co., Ltd., who has been deeply involved in cross-strait cultural and tourism exchanges for nearly 30 years, said that the company has created travel routes such as Buddhist Zen tours and Hakka culture root-seeking tours to meet the needs of Taiwanese tourists of different levels.

Wang Weijing, a second-generation Taiwanese businessman, took over his father's business and has been running a business in Yichun for a long time. "This hot land has given us real development opportunities."

Taiwan Youth Liu Boyi won the gold medal in the 3rd Gan-Taiwan Youth Short Video Creation Competition. Liu Boyi said that he hopes to use the lens as a bridge to break down information barriers. "Instead of watching from a distance, it is better to go there in person."

Lei Hongyi, chairman of the Taiwan Industrial and Commercial Construction Research Association and general manager of Gaoying Group, believes that the Jiangxi-Taiwan Conference will show infinite vitality and broad prospects.
