Goyang Sono donates 11.27 million won for Winners youth scholarship… Captain Jeong Hee-jae also donated an additional 5 million won.

Professional basketball team Goyang Sono announced on the 12th that it had donated 11.27 million won in ‘Winners Youth Scholarship’ to the Goyang City Social Welfare Council in celebration of the 27th Social Welfare Day (September 7).

The Sono club promised to donate ticket sales for the 'Thanks, Winners Day' event held to repay the support of 'Winners' (fan nickname) after the end of the 2025-2026 season and delivered this scholarship.

In addition, captain Jeong Hee-jae, who heard the news of the club's donation, individually donated 5 million won in youth scholarships, saying he would help foster local talent.

Jeong Hee-jae, who attended the donation ceremony held at the Goyang Oulrimnuri Byeolmorae Theater on the 11th, said, "I joined without hesitation because the club said it would make a meaningful donation in the name of Winners. I hope this will be a small force in helping young people move toward their future without losing their dreams and hopes."
