Today (25th) is the first day of the Mid-Autumn Festival and Teacher's Day holidays. The Highway Bureau of the Ministry of Transport estimates that today's national highway traffic volume is 1.3 times that of normal days, of which the southbound traffic volume is 1.5 times that of the usual annual average. It has implemented measures such as ramp closures and high-carrying control, and reminded passers-by to avoid sections prone to traffic jams.

Today's national highway diversion measures include National Highway 5 Shiding, Pinglin and National Highway 1 Pingzhen systems from 0 to 12 o'clock, and the south entrance ramp of the Puyan system is closed. From 6 to 12 o'clock, the southbound Western National Highway has high passenger capacity and a single rate. National Highway 3 Hsinchu system to Yanchao system adopts a single rate and then 20% off the toll, suspended tolls from 0 to 5 hours, open shoulders, alternative roads, ramp instrument control, etc.

The Expressway Bureau predicts that the key congested road sections today (25th) include National 1 southbound Yangmei-Toufen, Wangtian-Yuanlin, northbound Yuanshan-Dahua system; National 3 southbound Zhonghe-Guanxi, Baoshan-Xibin, Kuaiguan-Wufeng, Caotun-Mingjian; National 5 southbound Nangang system-Toucheng; National 10 eastbound Dingjin system-Yanchao system and other road sections.

The High Public Security Bureau recommends that southbound users of the Western National Highway try to depart before 6 a.m. or after 12 noon; southbound users of National Highway No. 5 are advised to depart before 5 a.m. or after 17:00 in the evening to save valuable time.

The Highway Bureau cooperates with the Highway Bureau of the Ministry of Transport. In addition to the national road condition forecast, which includes real-time traffic conditions, road condition forecasts, control measures, driving recommendations, etc., it will also publicize provincial highway and expressway diversion information, such as control measures, congestion forecasts, national highway passenger transport preferential measures, etc., and collaborate across agencies to integrate traffic information.
