The 2026 Taitung County Jinfeng Township Roselle Music Festival will be held grandly at 9 a.m. tomorrow (31st) in the Roselle area in front of the Zhengxing Village Clinic. The nine exhibition halls of the Tribal Star theme house will open at the same time as the flower area in front of the museum. The office has arranged to pick Roselle flowers and make preserves, allowing visitors to experience the local agricultural production process.
Jiang Zhengguang, the mayor of Jinfeng Township Office, said that the "2026 Jinfeng Township Roselle Flower Season Industrial Activity" takes Roselle as the main axis, and Jinfeng Township's agriculture, tribal culture, music and tourism are strung together into a carnival-like flower season event. Visitors can not only see the blooming roselle flowers, but also enter the brand market with more than 20 stalls, meet farmers, taste local flavors, and feel the human touch and land charm of Jinfeng during their participation.
The music festival arranged for senior tribal cultural elders Chen Sanxiang and musician Gan Shengzhu to lead the Jinfeng Township Zhengxing Tribe Youth Team to open the festival. It also arranged well-known golden melody singer Cemelesai Chemo, golden melody singer Wei Jinhan (Shandi Brother), Zhou Liwen, Yanshan Big Band to perform in turn, and local Guliu. Badalak, Wild Children, Nanzihan, VAI Band, etc. took turns to perform, and there was also a "Jinfeng Wild Stage Singing" where the tribesmen took turns singing and competing.
The activity arranges for the craftsmen farmers Huang Zhiming and Gao Xiuchun of "Bulami Farm" to lead tourists to learn about Jinfeng Roselle. Through farmers' explanations and hands-on practice, they can experience the process from the production area to the candied finished product. They can take home the sweet and sour taste made by themselves. There is also the fun of flower picking by "wearing a hat and carrying a flower basket". At least 60 free places are provided for tourists to play the role of farmers for a day.
The Jinfeng Township Office pointed out that the Roselle Music Festival has arranged two free nine-seater shuttle buses that depart from Taimali Railway Station opposite the venue every 10 minutes. Check-in points are also set up in the Roselle field. Passengers who complete designated tasks at the event venue may even have the opportunity to obtain "limited-edition" market coupons, exquisite tattoo stickers, transparent Roselle beer mugs, embroidered patches and other exquisite gifts.
