Jiang Wanan promotes the urban renewal policy package: 105 more posts will be added to the urban renewal department

Jiang Wanan held a press conference on the capital update this afternoon and was interviewed.

Taipei Mayor Chiang Wanan announced the urban renewal policy today (16th), reducing the willingness to integrate the first phase of public urban renewal from the current 75% to 50%; and also promoting the urban renewal area ratio of large streets to 300%. Jiang Wanan said that the city government also plans to increase the statutory number of 105 people in the urban emergency department to avoid the accumulation of a large number of urban emergency cases.

Jiang Wanan said in an interview today that because the process of people's consideration and hesitation will delay the Du Geng cases, they actively promote lowering the threshold for willing integration. There are already specific plans for the entire review process, so the city government will nearly double the manpower in the Du Geng Department, with an expected increase of 105 people. By quickly accelerating the review of these cases, the entire review speed will be accelerated.

The media asked that Shen Boyang, the Taipei mayoral candidate of the Democratic Progressive Party, proposed "unlimited changes" to include long-term care, day care, social housing, etc. Does today's policy refer to Shen's opinions? Jiang Wanan said that these are all things that are already being done, whether they are public-run facilities that include various childcare, elderly care, and public-sector services, or private-run ones, all are rewarded, not to mention that today's launch of the new policy will expand the introduction of more public-sector services.
