The Dajia Police Station is the oldest branch in Taichung City. The building has a history of 60 years, the space is narrow, and the office environment is poor. Over the years, there have been constant calls for reconstruction. The reconstruction project of the Dajia Branch is named "Dokas Comprehensive Service Park". This is the largest development project in the Dajia District in more than 10 years. Construction is expected to start on November 2 this year and be completed in 2029.

The Dajia Branch is located in the prime area in front of the train station. The Dajia Branch is composed of 9 buildings, which were built from 1966 to 1993. The Dajia Land Office was built in 1962. The buildings of the two units were built for a long time and have exceeded their service life. The city government plans to rebuild the Dajia Branch and include the Land Office and the Public Trust in the plan. More than ten years ago, the local government proposed relocating to the Meiren Mountain camp site. However, due to the remote location, various opinions differed. After years of twists and turns, the reconstruction plan was finally finalized.

City Councilor Li Wenjie pointed out that the demolition and new construction project of Daokas Park is expected to start on November 2, and he hopes that the project will be successfully completed and promote the development of the business district in front of Dajia Station.

Dajia Branch pointed out that the first phase of the project will build 6 floors above ground and 3 underground floors. The building will be built on a flat parking lot next to the current Dajia Branch. The demolition area will be the old dormitory and the building next to the small parking lot at the rear. The existing resident office area of ​​the branch is not included in the first phase of demolition. After the Daokas Park Building project is completed and the office resident is moved to the new building, the existing Dajia Branch will undergo the second phase demolition project. After the existing old hall building is demolished, a public parking lot will be built.
