贾植芳是“七月派”重要作家、翻译家、学者。本次展览选取贾植芳在1978年后的三十年作为叙事切入点,以“把‘人’字写端正”为精神主线,从创作成果、学术传承、上海足迹等八大板块,多角度叙述贾先生晚年的生命轨迹、学术成就与精神世界。展览共展出近百件实物,包括大量手稿、往来书信、老照片、珍贵签名本、各类聘书证书等,大多数展品是首次对外公开。

中国作协党组成员、副主席吴义勤表示,作为七月派重要作家,贾植芳扎根现实进行文学创作,延续了鲁迅的文学精神;作为优秀的翻译家,其深耕俄苏文学译介,搭建起中外文学交流的桥梁;作为中国现代文学、比较文学学科奠基人之一,主持编纂多部重要学术资料。

上海市社联党组书记、专职副主席王为松认为,品读贾植芳的文字,常常令人感同身受、引人沉思,甚至为之泪目。他表示,贾先生的风骨、风范、风格,值得进一步传扬下去,先生不仅标注了时代的思想,更树立了做人的标杆,真正做到了做人、做事、做学问相统一。

贾植芳长期执教于复旦大学,为相关学科的建设和发展作出了重要贡献。他曾担任复旦大学图书馆馆长,为学校学术文化事业倾注心力。复旦大学党委常委、副校长陈志敏表示,今天的展览以“把人字写端正”为题,正是对先生一生为人为学最朴素也是最深刻的概括。

哈佛大学东亚语言与文明系Edward C. Henderson讲座教授王德威认为,应将贾先生置于更广阔的文学文化史脉络中审视,从伦理脉络中认识他。
