The mayor of Krasnoyarsk reported 120 billion rubles in revenue from the creative economy

KRASNOYARSK, September 24 – RIA Novosti. The creative economy sector of Krasnoyarsk earned up to 120 billion rubles in revenue over the year, said Mayor Sergei Vereshchagin.

For the sixth time, the Krasnoyarsk Territory has become a platform for exchanging practices of Siberian regions in developing the creative economy. The two-day festival-forum "Russian Creative Week - Siberia" opened on Wednesday at the National Center "Russia" on the Yenisei. About a thousand people from more than 20 regions of the country take part.

“The creative economy sector of Krasnoyarsk generates up to 120 billion rubles in revenue per year... I shared the experience of Krasnoyarsk in the development of the creative industry. More than 85% of all creative businesses and personnel in the region are concentrated here. One of the flagships is gastronomy. Over three years, the turnover here has grown 2.5 times - to 53 billion rubles,” the head of the city wrote on the Max platform.

Vereshchagin noted that Krasnoyarsk youth reveal themselves through engineering creativity and e-sports.
