The 20th Education Superintendent School Sports Club Competition was held in 13 regions, including Gyeongnam Provincial Office of Education and Changwon.

The Gyeongnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 5th that it is holding the '20th Education Inspector School Sports Club Competition' in 13 regions in the province, including Changwon.

This competition, which opened on the 4th and runs until the 6th, is designed to help students develop a healthy body and good character through sports activities.

A total of 698 clubs and 8,573 people, including 244 elementary school clubs (2,884 people), 272 middle school clubs (3,439 people), and 182 high school clubs (2,250 people) that passed the regional education support office league in the first semester, will participate and compete in 20 sports.

Basketball pre-games were held from July 11th to 13th.

The competition is held as a festival to put into practice the Gyeongnam Office of Education's philosophy of 'Body, Person, Knowledge Character Education', which goes beyond simple wins and losses to foster a healthy body, good character, and wise life.

The winning club in each event will participate as a representative of Gyeongnam in the National School Sports Club Festival held in 17 cities and provinces across the country from October to November.

Superintendent Kwon Soon-ki said, “We will support the healthy growth and challenges of students and solidly support the foundation of sports club activities,” and added, “I hope that this will serve as a foundation for building friendships and living happy lives regardless of wins or losses.”
