[Special Correspondent Wu Mengru/Nagoya Report] Taiwan lost to China 0:3 in the top 4 of the Nagoya e-sports "Eternal Calamity" event, but still won a bronze medal. The Taiwan e-sports team won 2 silvers and 2 bronzes at the last Asian Games in Hangzhou. This year, a total of 33 players were sent to participate in 7 projects including "League of Legends", "Competitive Martial Arts", "Everlasting", "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds", "Pokémon Gathering", "Identity V" and "Magic Bubble".

Taiwan's "Everlasting" team, composed of Liu Tangyi, Chen Shangyi, Zheng Xuyou, Yan Di'en, and Ye Zhiyu, has been training since April, practicing from morning to night, and sometimes all the way into the early morning, just to strive for good results. This time they defeated the Philippines and Hong Kong in straight games in the group stage. Although they eventually lost to Vietnam, they still advanced to the top four in second place in the group.

Taiwan defeated China 0:3 in the semi-finals today and missed the gold medal match, but still won a bronze medal. Coach Zhuang Baihong said that China and Vietnam are indeed difficult to win, but the overall performance is satisfactory. Regarding being able to stand on the Asian Games podium, Chen Shangyi also said that his hard work was not in vain. After all, not only was he hard during the training period, he sometimes even quarreled with his teammates. However, these quarrels will disappear after leaving the game.
