"Qin Sheng Poetry and Rhythm·Haojiang Journey" Xi'an city cultural exchange event was held at Macau University of Science and Technology

China News Service, Macau, September 5th. The "Qin Sheng Poetry and Rhythm·Haojiang Journey" Xi'an urban cultural exchange event was held on the 3rd at the Macau University of Science and Technology. More than 300 representatives from the cultural and art circles in Xi'an and Macao, as well as teachers and students from Macau University of Science and Technology, gathered together to immerse themselves in the cultural charm of Xi'an.

At the event, Qi Aiyun, one of the "Four Famous Dancing Dancers" of Qin Opera and winner of the Plum Blossom Award for Chinese Drama, brought a unique art sharing of Qin Opera. Through vivid explanations and wonderful demonstrations, she led the teachers and students present to experience the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture up close, and planted the seeds of perceiving Chang'an and understanding the excellent traditional culture in the hearts of Macao youth.

Subsequently, Xi'an young artists Qi Jiale and He Yilin performed the Qin Opera "Dragon and Phoenix Present", the ancient poetry art song "Youlan Cao" and the cross-border work "At This Moment", which cleverly integrated traditional Qin Opera, Tang poetry singing and Western opera, pushing the atmosphere to a climax.

Pang Chuan, Vice President of Macau University of Science and Technology, believes that this cultural on-campus event allows teachers and students to feel the beauty of thousands of years of Chang'an poetry and Qinqiang art in just a few inches, which is a rare cultural experience. He said that Xi'an is an important birthplace of Chinese civilization and an excellent destination for historical and cultural studies. He looks forward to carrying out in-depth cooperation with more universities in Xi'an in the future in terms of talent training, scientific research cooperation, teacher-student exchanges, etc., to jointly promote youth cultural exchanges between the two places.

Outside the venue, interactive experience areas such as Qin Opera facial makeup painting, Tang poetry lacquer fan hand-making and Tang poetry copying were crowded with people. Through the multi-dimensional experience of "seeing, playing, gathering and photographing", Macao youth can experience the beauty of China's excellent traditional culture in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, and deepen their understanding and identification of Xi'an culture.

Li Zisong, chairman of the Macau Federation of Cultural Circles, said he looks forward to more cooperation between Macau and Xi'an in the fields of culture, art, and youth exchanges in the future, jointly promoting the construction of "Cultural Macau" and making Macau an important platform to highlight the charm of Chinese culture and promote mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations.
