Lanying Zhudong mayor candidate Fan Guowei issued a lawyer’s statement to seriously clarify the false accusations

With 20 days left before the election, Fan Guowei, the Kuomintang candidate for mayor of Zhudong Town in Hsinchu County, said today (8th) that false rumors and smear campaigns against his past role as the person in charge of enterprise registration have recently been circulated in the local area. He issued a lawyer's statement through Boyi International Law Firm. The statement also listed a list of civil and administrative cases related to the enterprise, emphasizing that elections should return to rational competition and do not mislead villagers through illegal means. Any illegal behavior will be held accountable in accordance with the law and will not be tolerated.

Fan Guowei said that elections can be competitive and have different positions, and the public is welcome to review their political opinions and performance, but competition should have a bottom line. In response to the fact that the outside world deliberately hyped up the civil and administrative judicial disputes of "Taifa Construction Co., Ltd." more than 10 years ago, which it served as the registration person in charge, with the intention of misleading the public and affecting the election, the statement provided a list of civil and administrative cases related to the company.
