5-vehicle chain accident on July 15 Martyrs Bridge

A chain traffic accident involving 5 vehicles occurred on the 15 July Martyrs Bridge in Istanbul. Due to the accident, there was traffic congestion on the Anatolian Side of the bridge and on the connecting roads.

The accident occurred at the entrance of the bridge, on the transition route from the European Side to the Anatolian Side.

3 CARS AND 2 Jeeps COLLIDEED

Following the chain traffic accident involving 3 cars and 2 jeeps for an undetermined reason, police, fire brigade and medical teams were dispatched to the region.

While the vehicles were damaged in the accident, traffic congestion occurred on the connection roads of the 15 July Martyrs Bridge in the Ankara direction.

TRAFFIC IS BACK TO NORMAL

After the teams worked at the scene, the vehicles involved in the accident were removed from the road.

With the removal of the vehicles, the disrupted traffic flow on the bridge and connecting roads returned to normal.
