Wrong parking blocked traffic in Istanbul! IETT bus got stuck on the road, the queue reached 1.5 kilometers

The incident took place on Yenibosna 29 Ekim Street. Improperly parked vehicles on the main street made it difficult for especially large vehicles to pass and turn. With the IETT bus unable to turn and stranded on the road, vehicles in traffic could not move forward. While long vehicle queues formed on the street, drivers and passengers had to wait helplessly.

Citizens tried to reach the vehicle owner.

The bus driver, passengers and citizens stranded in traffic made intense efforts to reach the owner of the vehicle blocking the road. However, when the owner of the vehicle could not be reached, some citizens tried to move the vehicle with their own means or even remove it. Due to what happened, traffic flow on the street was disrupted for a long time.

POLICE TEAMS ARRIVED AT THE SCENE

Police teams arrived at the scene upon notice and stated that they would examine the situation and make the necessary notification. After the teams left the scene, citizens continued to wait for the wrongly parked driver to arrive to clear traffic. Due to the grievance experienced, both passengers in public transportation and other drivers had to wait on the road for a long time.

The citizen, who stated that he was late for his doctor's appointment, said, "The man parked his car and the bus cannot pass. I have an appointment at Eyüpsultan State Hospital, I am late."

A citizen stuck in traffic said, "The vehicle is parked here and the bus cannot pass. We have been waiting for an hour with traffic behind us for 1.5 kilometers. There is no number of the man on the vehicle. We continue until the man finishes his evening work."

Stating that he has been waiting in traffic for an hour, Atilla Akbulut said, "The bus cannot pass right now because of the wrong puck. We have been waiting here for almost an hour."
