The underground railway in Tainan City was officially opened to traffic on the 17th. The Railway Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation held an opening ceremony on the 16th and held an opening market on the 17th. Traffic control was implemented around the back station of Tainan Station for two consecutive days. The western section of Daxue Road will be closed at 9 a.m. on the 16th and will not resume traffic until 24:00 on the night of the 17th. Qianfeng Road will also be temporarily closed on the evening of the 16th. The Transportation Bureau reminds passers-by to change routes in advance to avoid traffic jams.

The Transportation Bureau stated that in conjunction with the layout of the opening ceremony on the 16th, the section of Qianfeng Road to Yule Street in the western section of University Road will be closed in both directions starting from 9 a.m.; from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. that day, the section of Qianfeng Road from Xiaodong Road to the west section of University Road will be closed to pedestrians and vehicles, and the section of Qianfeng Road from the west section of University Road to Minzu Road 1 near the temporary back station of Tainan Station will be closed to cars, but pedestrians and motorcycles can still pass, and taxis can enter to drop off passengers.

因應週五下班尖峰，建議行經大學路往西的民眾提前改走勝利路，往北可改行小東路，往南可走東寧路。搭火車或接送親友的民眾，也可改由北門路台南車站前站進出。活動現場另安排短程接駁車，往返臨時後站與民族路1段、前鋒路口。

17日通車市集活動當天，大學路西段前鋒路至育樂街66巷口持續封閉，前鋒路則維持通行。市集晚間8時結束後進行場地復原，大學路西段最遲於晚間12時恢復通行。接送旅客的臨時下客區，16日設於大學路與育樂街口，17日移至育樂街66巷口，接人則建議改到車站前站。

In terms of buses, four routes, including Route 70, Route 77, Route 902 and Route 111, as well as stops at Cheng Kung University, Xiaodong Road, Shangri-La Hotel, and Chengdu Guangfu Campus will be affected. In terms of parking, some sections of Shengli Road are open to parking for motorcycles; from 4 pm to 9 pm on the 17th, parking for cars and motorcycles is also open on the campus of Tainan No. 1 Middle School, so people can take advantage of it.
