In particular, the 16-character message presented by President Xi during his visit to the United States, 'We must focus on cooperation, moderate competition, control differences of opinion, and expect peace' (Collaboration-oriented, Competition-inducing, Branching, Processing, and Peace-building) is considered the core principle of the relationship between the two countries. It was emphasized that it was presented.

This is interpreted as an idea that even if strategic competition continues, the level of competition must be managed and differences of opinion must be prevented from turning into conflict.

In the fields of economy and trade, it was emphasized that the number of cooperation partners should be increased and conflict issues should be reduced.

The newspaper claimed, “Ahead of the China-US summit, the economic and trade delegations of the two countries reached a new joint agreement,” and added, “It shows that the essence of Sino-US economic and trade relations is mutual benefit and coexistence, and that equal negotiations are the only right choice when faced with differences and friction.”

On the Taiwan issue, the existing hard-line stance was reaffirmed.
