A bus collided with a motorcycle in front of Hemu Elementary School in Zhongpu Township, Chiayi County on Provincial Route 18 Alishan Highway at around 11 noon today. The motorcycle almost fell under the car. The scene was shocking. Fortunately, the 25-year-old male rider showed no obvious trauma during initial inspection. He reported pain in his tail vertebra and was sent to St. Martin's Hospital in Chiayi City by Sanhe Fire Brigade ambulance for treatment. The cause of the accident is under investigation by the police.

The Service Command Center of the Chiayi County Fire Department received a report at 11:27 noon today, indicating that a traffic incident occurred in front of Hehu Elementary School on Provincial Highway 18. Firefighters arrived at the scene and reported that there was a collision between a bus and a motorcycle at the Chiayi County Bus Department. The young rider who was hit has escaped. The initial inspection showed no obvious trauma, but he said that his tail vertebra will hurt and he has been sent to the hospital for treatment.
