Changeable weather in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg with showers and thunderstorms

In Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg the weather will be changeable on Wednesday. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), the sky will be variable to very cloudy, with showers and isolated thunderstorms. Thunderstorms can be strong locally. The maximum values ​​are around 19 degrees.

It gets windy, especially on the North Sea. There the wind blows at times strong and gusty from the southwest, later from the northwest. Otherwise the wind will remain light to moderate.

On Thursday night it will remain partly cloudy, with a few showers possible. The temperatures drop to 14 degrees on Heligoland and Fehmarn and to 8 degrees inland. Strong and gusty west to northwest winds continue to blow along the coast.

On Thursday it will initially be cloudy with a high of 18 degrees with a few showers. In the afternoon the clouds will clear and it will remain mostly dry. At the beginning there will be a fresh and gusty west to northwest wind on Fehmarn.

The rain is coming on Friday

On Friday night it will be partly cloudy, partly clear. A few showers may appear later in North Frisia. Temperatures drop to 15 degrees on Helgoland, 11 degrees on Nordstrand and up to 7 degrees inland.

During the day on Friday it will initially be friendly at times. Later, thicker clouds and rain will move in from the North Sea. Temperatures reach 18 degrees in Leck and up to 21 degrees in Hamburg. Moderate to fresh south to southwest winds are blowing on the North Sea.

Things will remain changeable on Saturday too. In addition to dense clouds, the sun will appear at times and there will be occasional showers. The maximum values ​​are between 19 degrees on Sylt and 21 degrees in Hamburg.
