Kaohsiung Kongtung University and the Police College joined forces to help 18 people get admitted to the third-class police examination

Kaohsiung Kongteng University and the Police College have joined forces to help 18 people take the third-class police examination this year.

Kaohsiung Kongtung University and the Police College jointly promote the "Police Bachelor's Special Course". This year, 18 people were admitted to the third-class police special examination, with outstanding results. Kong University President Chen Yueduan paid a visit to the Police College Principal Liu Honglie today (10th). The two sides exchanged opinions. Kong University proposed three major improvement directions, including strengthening AI courses, in order to respond to new crime types and the international law enforcement environment.

Chen Yueduan today led the heads of relevant offices in the school to visit the principal of the Police College, Liu Honglie. The two parties had a comprehensive exchange of views on the "Bachelor of Police Course" for police college students to transition to university degrees, and the "Police On-the-job Course" for police officers to continue studying after serving.

The Department of Law of Kaohsiung Kongtung University plans courses according to the needs of students in the special police bachelor's program, guiding students to connect regulations, cases and police practical situations to strengthen legal professional knowledge. It is worth mentioning that a total of 18 people were admitted to the Kaohsiung Kongtung University's police bachelor's degree class for the "115-year Civil Servant Special Examination Police Personnel Examination Third Class Examination" to present the course results.

Chen Yueduan said that Kaohsiung Kongteng University will continue to use the advantages of distance teaching and flexible learning to improve learning support services and help students use their time effectively to complete their learning goals. Liu Honglie said that police college students taking courses at Kaohsiung Kongtung University at the same time will have considerable advantages when applying for the third-class special examination for police officers in the future, and it also proves that education can change lives.

Kaohsiung Kongteng University has proposed three directions for improvement: 1. Continue to examine the connection between course content and police professional knowledge and national examination professional knowledge; 2. Gradually enrich relevant course content such as artificial intelligence (AI) technological literacy, digital evidence, and technological crime; 3. Strengthen support measures such as course selection consultation, learning progress care, and learning counseling to respond to the learning needs of police college students and current police officers.
