The weather on Sunday in Moscow will be determined by a baric saddle - an area in the pressure field between two crosswise areas of high and low pressure; no precipitation is expected in the region and up to plus 19, leading specialist of the Phobos weather center Evgeny Tishkovets told RIA Novosti.
“During the day, the synoptic situation in the capital region will be determined by the so-called baric saddle - this is the name in meteorology for the area in the pressure field between two crosswise areas of high and low pressure: in the west and east anticyclones break through with ridges, and from the north and south - at the level of the baric “waist” - two cyclones squeeze it. As a result, the shape of the baric relief has a characteristic saddle shape,” said Tishkovets.
