Today (28th) is Teachers' Day. Tainan City Council candidate Hsu You-jen held an alternative campaign. He first went to the "Qui Nhon Confucius Temple" Dunyuan Temple to pay homage to Confucius, and then rode a bicycle to Renshou Palace to thank his teacher.

Teachers' Day is also the last day of the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. Hui Youren held a "Water Fun, Teachers and Students Together" event in front of Quy Nhon Nhon Thu Palace, which attracted many parents to take their children to splash in the water and play with bubbles. There were also stage performances, karaoke singing, and an "Education Loudspeaker" information desk to listen to the voices of parents and grassroots teachers.

In the morning, Xu Youren and many teachers from Tan Phong District went to Quy Nhon Dunyuan Temple to pay homage to the most holy teacher Confucius. Then he rode a bicycle to the Quy Nhon Nhon Tho Palace and held a "Three Rings of Ceremony" ceremony to honor teachers together with several representatives of retired teachers, which symbolizes "respect for teachers, passing on the fire of inheritance, and promoting education."

Xu Youren said that it was not easy for Teachers' Day to be restored as a national holiday last year, allowing for one day off. Many retired teachers are very nervous about the current education in schools and hope to return to the dignity of teachers and rebuild a good learning environment for teachers and students.
