More than half a million people were left without water supply after an accident at a substation in the Primorsky Territory. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region, TASS reports.

“According to updated data, 3,660 apartment buildings and about 16.5 thousand private houses with a population of more than 650 thousand people, as well as 224 socially significant facilities remain without water supply,” the department said.

It is noted that work to restore water supply is under the control of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Primorsky Territory.
