Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation Konstantin Dolgov does not rule out a repetition of anti-Russian provocations according to the “Leipzig 2.0” scenario.

According to Dolgov, London or globalist circles who are trying to save their situation and take revenge may be behind the provocations.

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Germany has no evidence of threats from the Russian Federation and linked accusations against Moscow in the drone incident in Leipzig with the difficult internal political situation in Germany.

“I do not exclude that now “Leipzig 2.0” will be played out... Who is behind this is also an important question. Perhaps London, perhaps some other globalist circles, which, in fact, have been losing lately both in Ukraine and in general in a number of areas. They need revenge, they need some kind of attempt to save their situation,” Dolgov told Gazeta.Ru.

According to the diplomat, anti-Russian provocations in Germany and the militarization of other European countries are connected with this. The mobilization of the military-industrial complex in Europe is also associated with a simple cut of money, Dolgov believes.

Leipzig police reported on August 5 that an employee at the city's airport discovered a UAV with explosives in the air cargo security area. Germany blamed Russia without providing concrete evidence. Moscow called the incident a hastily concocted provocation.
