In 2025, the total output value of Henan Province's agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery will reach 1.08 trillion yuan, ranking second in the country. In the first half of this year, the added value of the primary industry was 227.92 billion yuan, a growth rate of 4%, which was 0.3 percentage points higher than the national level.
Tang Xinwei said that Henan is focusing on enhancing its agricultural science and technology innovation capabilities. 15 "national" agricultural science and technology innovation platforms, including the National Biological Breeding Industry Innovation Center, the National Agricultural Machinery Equipment Innovation Center, and the Zhoukou National Agricultural High-tech Zone, are accelerating the construction. Zhongyuan Agricultural Valley has settled in scientific research at the provincial level and above. There are 67 platforms and 102 seed companies, 20 provincial-level modern agricultural industry technology systems have been established, more than 120 county-level agricultural technology extension service teams have been established, and more than 5,000 science and technology commissioners have been selected. He further introduced that Henan has extended the modern agricultural industry chain, focusing on cultivating six major industrial clusters such as grain, livestock and fishery, and 18 industrial chains such as wheat and edible fungi. It has systematically cultivated 260 county-level "native product" industrial chains, built 19 national modern agricultural industrial parks, 12 advantageous and characteristic industrial clusters, and 127 modern agricultural industry strong towns. In the first half of this year, the per capita disposable income of rural residents was 10,439 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%, and the per capita consumption expenditure of rural residents was 9,707 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.9%.
