Russian kamikaze drone "Molniya-2" destroyed a target in the northwestern military zone with a tandem strike

The Russian kamikaze drone "Molniya-2" of the fighters of the radiation, chemical and biological protection unit of the "Center" group of troops destroyed a target in the North Military District zone with a tandem strike. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The military used a Molniya with an FPV quadcopter attached to it. At a given point, the copter separated from the carrier and continued its flight on its own. The copter recorded the strike of an aircraft-type drone using a camera and struck related targets. Drone operators destroyed an enemy stronghold in the Dnepropetrovsk direction of the special operation.

“The use of the tandem method allows you to send an FPV drone over a long distance, since it does not waste energy on independently entering the desired area, but is delivered to the target by a carrier,” the department added.
