MAKHACHKALA, September 22 - RIA Novosti. A seven-year-old child died as a result of a collision between an excavator and a car in Dagestan, the republic’s Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

According to the department, on Tuesday, on one of the streets in the city of Izberbash, the driver of an excavator, when leaving the adjacent territory, did not give way to a car driving along the main road, which is why he collided with a VAZ-2109 driven by a 19-year-old local resident.

“As a result of the accident, the driver of the car and his passenger, a seven-year-old boy, were taken to a medical facility, where the child subsequently died from serious injuries,” the report says.
