Taiwan police arrest 18 tourists for prostitution at hotel

Police have arrested 18 tourists who were involved in prostitution at a hotel in Taiwan. This was reported by The Thaiger.

On September 17, officers conducted a raid in Taipei and detained 17 Thai women and one Vietnamese woman, all of whom came to the country on tourist visas. 10 travelers overstayed their documents and were in the country illegally. Together with them, the police detained two male clients and the owner of the establishment.

It turned out that a 53-year-old resident of Taiwan ran a business in the alleys off Xichang Street: women invited vacationers to go with them to the nearest hotel and provided intimate services there.

It is clarified that his company positioned itself as an inexpensive business, charging 1.5 thousand Taiwanese dollars (four thousand rubles) per session, of which women kept eight hundred (2.1 thousand rubles). The investigation into the case continues.
