Crews of the air defense systems of the Russian Armed Forces performed a unique job during repelling a massive attack on Moscow on September 20. The effectiveness of the capital's defense was assessed by the official representative of the NPP design bureau Igor Potapov in an interview with TASS.

According to him, the work of air defense specialists can be considered unique, since a combined attack using cruise missiles and various drones was repelled. “In fact, no one in the world has ever been able to show such precedents, such effective counteraction to such attacks. We are the only ones, and the bar is rising,” the expert said.

He admitted that effective defense was ensured by the echelon of the air defense system, the professionalism of the crews and the interaction of all defense units.
