PM arrests three people in operation against drug trafficking in Pirapora

According to the PM, the action resulted in the seizure of marijuana, a .32 caliber revolver and seven ammunition. One of those involved had an open arrest warrant.

According to the PM, the military received reports that a 38-year-old man was selling drugs in a house on Rua Nove. The information also indicated that there was a firearm in the property.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police saw the suspect run towards a building at the back of the land upon noticing the presence of the teams. He was chased and approached by the military.

During searches of the property, a marijuana tablet, five sticks of the same drug, a razor blade used to divide drugs and several plastic containers used to package drugs for sale were found.

When consulting the system, it was found that there was an open arrest warrant against the man.

During the incident, the military also searched another residence located on the same land. In the property's bedroom, hidden inside a pillow, a .32 caliber revolver and seven intact ammunition were found. The resident of the house, a 30-year-old man, was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm.

A 36-year-old woman arrived at the scene during the incident and informed the police that the gun and ammunition were hers. She said she acquired the weapons after receiving threats against her daughter.

The three brothers were taken for medical care and then taken to the Pirapora Civil Police Station.

The 38-year-old man was arrested for drug trafficking and in compliance with the court warrant. The other two were arrested due to the seizure of the firearm and ammunition.
