市府去年和今年5月都招考駕駛，都沒有招滿，今年5月招考20人，只有12人報到（2人延後報到）。因此二度招考。

公車處處長鍾惠存表示，因應近年來基隆市政府對於行車安全、服務品質及無障礙友善乘車環境的重視，考試項目由原本的筆試及路考，調整為路考及面試。其中路考部分，增加無障礙輪椅服務測驗、提高行車安全與平穩度評分占比，並將「路口停讓」及「指差確認」納入評分標準；面試部分，可透過雙方當面對談，瞭解駕駛長過去經歷及服務態度，以及對於各種車內突發狀況之應變能力。

公車處表示，這次招考的條件，只要國中以上學歷且領有職業大客車或職業聯結車駕駛執照，並取得「交通部公路局大客車職業駕駛人定期訓練證明」（小藍卡），9月15日起開放報名，甄試採線上報名，簡章及相關資訊已公告於公車處官網（https://www.klcba.gov.tw/）及甄試網站（https://klcba115-2.twexam.com），不諳網路系統報名的考生可利用甄試網站多元客服協助。
