20 days of marriage ended in death! Neighbors spoke: There were rumors

An argument broke out between Salih Aker (29) and his wife Aliye Aker (27) at their home in Bahçelievler District of Osmaniye's Bahçe district, for an unknown reason. Salih Aker, who shot his wife with a gun during the argument, then called 112 Emergency Call Center and asked for help.

Salih Aker later shot himself with the same gun. Upon notice, police and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the address.

The Aker couple, who were taken to Bahçe State Hospital by ambulance, could not be saved despite the interventions.

Their neighbor Elif Gök, who lives in the same apartment building, said that they heard them arguing all the time: "When I woke up around 05.30 in the morning, I opened the window. I saw that there were police teams and an ambulance in front of the apartment building. When we wondered and investigated the incident, we learned that a person living on the 6th floor of the same apartment building first shot his wife and then shot himself. This couple had only been married for 20 days. However, it was said that there were frequent arguments between them. In fact, this was a topic that the people living in the apartment talked about among themselves. They argued almost every night and "There were rumors that they were fighting," he said.
