A man surnamed Zhang from Kaohsiung City mistakenly fell into the fake investment trap of a fraud group and was defrauded of more than 2 million yuan one after another. The gangsters still knew what they were doing. Unwilling to be deceived, Zhang called the police and cooperated with the police. He lured the 55-year-old driver surnamed Zhuo to the temple to pay the money. Wu Wenqin, the director of the Dalin Police Station of the Xiaogang Police Division, put on the uniform of a temple committee member to disarm Zhuo and showed up to withdraw money, and they were arrested.

The victim, a 42-year-old man surnamed Zhang, mistakenly believed in a fake stock "guaranteed profit" advertisement on Facebook in mid-July this year and joined a messaging software account claiming to be a "little assistant." He was then guided to join an investment community and download the fake "Yuanfu Securities" APP. The other party even claimed that he had lucky enough to win a popular stock and asked for additional funds. Zhang Nan believed it to be true and handed over cash on the roadside in Dalin Pu many times in August, with a cumulative loss of more than 2 million yuan. Subsequently, he was shocked to find that there was something wrong with the transaction rules and was deceived. On the 6th, he went to the Dalin Police Station to report the case and seek help.

When the fraud group contacted him again on the 7th to arrange a face-to-face meeting, Wu had an idea and arranged the meeting in the temple's office. He changed into a temple committee member's uniform borrowed from a merchant and ambush him on the spot. When the driver surnamed Zhuo showed up, the ambush police swarmed in and arrested him on the spot and seized relevant evidence involved in the case. After the entire case was inquired, the case was transferred to the Kaohsiung District Prosecutor's Office for investigation and detention on suspicion of fraud and money laundering prevention laws.
