The 2026 Douliu Community Building Carnival will kick off at 2:30 pm on the 10th at the Douliuxingqi Memorial Hall. This year, with "community co-creation" as the main axis, it connects 18 communities, campus teams, street performers and professional performance teams in Douliu, turning rural life, local industries, community culture and the common memories of residents into creative shapes and performances. Through Samba drumming, special dances and street parades, everyone can see the vitality and characteristics of the community.

Douliu City is the most virtuous city in Yunlin, with both agriculture, industry and commerce, and each community has different characteristics. Mayor Lin Shengjue said that this year, community characteristics will be integrated into the street performance, from rural landscapes, agricultural product characteristics to community stories. Each community will use their creativity to create exclusive themes, so that local culture will not only stay in the community, but enter the city blocks, allowing citizens and foreign tourists to understand the diverse local characteristics of Douliu.

The Douliu City Office pointed out that at 2:30 pm on the 10th, at the Xingqi Memorial Hall, there was a shocking opening ceremony by the drum group of the Thirteen Community, followed by the highlight of the Samba Carnival Street Parade. The 18 participating communities each presented their own characteristics, including Baozhuang The community "Baozhuang makes flower drums", the Liunan community "Niu turns the world. A new chapter comes out of Pu", the Xizhou community "Sembahi countryside, Xizhou happy garden", the Lohas community "Good harvest! Dancing straw elves", the Liubei community "Durian light and green shadow" Avocado Fairy", Jiangcuo Community's "Longyao Jiangcuo Eats in Good Taste", Longtan Community's "Dragon Leap to Show Hongyou", etc.

The Municipal Office stated that in addition to walking on the street, the Yunlin County Street Performers Association and other teams were also invited to perform in turns, combining music, dance, stunts and interactive performances, and there were tastings and displays of community agricultural products and food. Everyone is welcome to Yunlin Douliu during the Double Ten holiday. In the morning, you can go to the Douliu Baseball Stadium to participate in flag raising and walking to celebrate the national birthday. Afterwards, you can stroll around Douliu and eat delicious food. In the afternoon, go to the Xingqi Memorial Hall to participate in the community carnival and feel the enthusiasm and vitality of the community.
