Beijing Daxing International Airport’s 2026 Summer Transport comes to a successful conclusion, with international and regional passenger volume increasing by 2.23% year-on-year

Reporters learned from Beijing Daxing International Airport on September 1 that during the summer holiday season, the number of international and regional passengers at Daxing Airport reached 1.1236 million, a year-on-year increase of 2.23%, and the overall operation showed a rapid growth trend.

During the summer travel season, Daxing Airport actively expanded encrypted flight routes, guaranteed a total of 67,800 flights, and transported 10.9894 million passengers. The average daily flight volume and passenger volume were 1,093 flights and 177,200 passengers respectively, a year-on-year increase of 11.47% and 14.9% respectively. In July and August, Daxing Airport successively set new records for the peak months of passenger traffic since it was put into operation. In August, the total flight volume reached 32,600, and the total passenger volume reached 5,695,500. On July 21, the number of flight movements reached 1,255, which was a new high since the opening of flights.

In view of the characteristics of the summer aviation market, Daxing Airport has joined hands with various airlines to continue to increase capacity, effectively meeting the multiple passenger flow needs such as student vacation travel, summer travel, family visits, and business travel.

Domestically, Daxing Airport has newly opened and increased the number of more than 50 routes from Beijing Daxing to Hotan, Bijie, Changsha, Guiyang, Harbin, Guilin, Lanzhou, Hulunbuir, etc.; internationally and regionally, it has newly opened and increased the number of routes from Beijing Daxing to Bali, and increased the number of flights to and from Russia to 70 flights per week.
