Ulju-gun holds '2026 Onsan Residents Planning Village Festival' at Deoksin Small Park in Onsan-eup

Ulju-gun, Ulsan, will hold the '2026 Onsan Residents Planning Village Festival' at Deoksin Small Park, Onsan-eup, Ulju-gun on the 5th and 6th.

This was prepared as part of the Onsan urban regeneration street and cultural revitalization program.

The village festival planned by residents is an experiential and exhibition event that will feature a safety culture experience program such as making a safety helmet key ring, as well as an exhibition of safety supplies.

Cultural and artistic events include mime performances, bands, story-based performances, dance, and taekwondo. In addition to resident experience programs such as making your own stamps, there will also be an exhibition of local artists' ceramics and paintings.

Stage performances include Onsan High School Youth Club Band, Youth Musical Band, and Latin Jazz Band.

The next day's performance includes Sampyeong Elementary School Children's Band, local busking, and juggling.

An Ulju-gun official said, “The village festival planned by Onsan residents is an event directly planned and prepared by residents as part of the Onsan Urban Regeneration New Deal project.”

Meanwhile, in Ulju-gun, Deoksin-ri, Onsan-eup, was selected for the 2020 urban regeneration project, and the project is being carried out with the vision of 'Original downtown, Deoksin-ri, with warm neighbors and newness.'

We carry out software projects such as strengthening residents' capabilities, operating an urban regeneration university, and programs to foster entrepreneurs and economic organizations.

In addition, we are carrying out facility improvement projects such as supporting home repairs, creating an alley community, and improving Ondeok Harmony Park, and are creating regional base facilities such as a start-up platform and cultural creation center.
