Se-yoon Jang won the silver medal after losing to Sita Kadamboeva (Uzbekistan) by foul in the women's 52kg judo final held at the Aichi International Arena in Nagoya, Japan on the 30th.

The two players received two instructions each during regular time (4 minutes) and entered into an overtime golden point match.

At 1 minute and 49 seconds of overtime, Jang Se-yoon received an additional map and lost after video review confirmed that he grabbed his leg while defending against an opponent's attack.

There was no hesitation from the start. Jang Se-yoon, who faced Sabira Kosomverdieva (Kyrgyzstan) in the round of 16, comfortably advanced to the quarterfinals by winning a cool match just 16 seconds after the start of the match.

In the quarterfinals, clever crisis management skills stood out.

Jang Se-yoon, who fought fiercely throughout regulation time against Xiaoyu (China), was on the verge of losing by foul after exchanging two maps each, but succeeded in a surprise technique with 46 seconds left in the game to win another match.

The highlight was the match between Korea and Japan in the semifinals.

Se-yoon Jang met Kokoro Fujishiro (Japan), backed by the one-sided support of the home crowd, and filled the regular time holding two maps each side.
