[Reporter Sun Weirong/Taipei Report] The "Trend Focus Forum TRENDY TALKS" in "2026 Trendy Taipei TRENDY TAIPEI" invited Montonn JIRA, co-founder of Thailand's iconic sustainable arts festival Wonderfruit, South Korea's YOUJAM STUDIO president Jae Hun You, who has hosted BTS, BLACKPINK world tour concerts and PSY's "Wet Body Show", as well as Asia's authoritative electronic music media Mixmag Asia Editor-in-Chief Amira Waworuntu and other multinational industry promoters came to Taiwan to give lectures; Taiwan has gathered the creative energy of hit producer RAZOR and AI co-creation tool developer Chen Lurong (GreenTed) to plan a total of 9 cross-domain lectures on September 5th and 6th in the hall on the second floor of Taipei Arena Showtime Cinemas. "Trend Focus Forum TRENDY TALKS" takes "Music × City × Culture × Technology" as the core topic, plans nine major cultural tasks, and invites 9 groups of cross-field top speakers from Thailand, South Korea, Germany, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, and Taiwan. The first day's lecture was given by Montonn, co-founder of Thailand's iconic sustainable art festival Wonderfruit JIRA came on stage to share how the festival uses art, music and food as its entrance, and integrates sustainable living seamlessly into the entertainment experience through a bamboo stage, zero plastic policy and closed-loop water circulation system, creating a lasting trend paradigm.

The forum also focused on the transnational connections between Asian subcultures and popular media. Amira Waworuntu, editor-in-chief of Asia's authoritative electronic music media Mixmag Asia, and commercial director Henry Cooper will join forces on the stage to bring a practical vision across Asia's underground and mainstream music scenes from the dual perspectives of editorial and business, deconstructing the evolutionary trend of transnational brand cooperation and regional cultural hybridization; and subculture indicator media founded in Tokyo by former VICE creative director Adrian Bianco sabukaru will share his career journey from dropping out of school and working as a sneaker store clerk to becoming an international creative director and media founder.
While international perspectives meet, the top energy of Taiwan's local pop creation and visual arts will also be fully demonstrated at the forum. Chen Lurong (GreenTed), an all-round creator who spans music, video and marketing, and the founder of GreenTed, will demonstrate the "Music Agent OS" AI co-creation tool he has developed personally, and discuss how creators can upgrade to become "all-round" monsters who can defeat a team in the wave of generative AI. RAZOR, a well-known producer who has produced hundreds of famous songs including Jolin Tsai's Golden Melody Award-winning single "Rose Boy", will exclusively break down the technical context of inspiration generation and lead listeners to explore the late-night inspiration charging map of Taipei creators after dark and other creations from all walks of life.
"TRENDY EXHIBITION" has been on display at Songyan Warehouse No. 3 since August 27. It is curated by "The Cave", Taiwan's most representative electronic music curatorial team. It uses contemporary pop music archiving as a starting point and combines gaming experiences with 4 city AR landmarks to connect the exhibition venue and invite the audience to explore how technological tools connect people, urban space and music culture. People who participate in forum lectures can also unlock off-site tasks of the "Chao Taipei Technology and Music Interactive Exhibition". Each time they complete a lecture, they can get 1 player point. After completing nine tasks, they can be upgraded to an "advanced player".
