WHEN WILL 2026 KYK SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS START?

The starting date for KYK scholarship and loan applications has not been officially announced yet by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. However, considering the calendars of previous years; Following the YKS placement and registration processes, applications are expected to be made available via e-Government, generally between the end of October and the first week of November.

Last year, applications were received between 13-17 October.

HOW TO APPLY FOR KYK SCHOLARSHIP AND LOAN?

When the application period officially begins, candidates will complete their transactions completely digitally. The steps to follow are:

e-Government Login: Applications are received only through the e-Government portal (turkiye.gov.tr). T.R. You must log in to the system with your ID number and e-Government password.

Information Update: You must fill in the economic, social and academic information requested from you on the application screen completely and without errors. The accuracy of the declared information is automatically confirmed from the databases of public institutions.

WHO CAN GET KYK SCHOLARSHIP? (PRIORITY GROUPS)

Students who are eligible to receive a scholarship are determined according to the criteria determined by the Ministry. The priority groups in the evaluation process are:

Children of martyrs and their single siblings of martyrs, children of veterans and veterans,

Students with a disability report of 40% or more,

Those who attend high school or equivalent schools as boarders under state protection or those who come from hospices/children's homes,

Amateur athletes who have a national athlete certificate,

Successful students who are among the top 100 as a result of YKS.

Other students are entitled to receive scholarships or education loans through a scoring system based on the family's financial situation, real estate and income status.
