This year is the ninth year of Blue River’s self-research, and vivo continues to solidify the foundation of the operating system - from the kernel, framework to development tools, to build Blue River into a river connecting the future. Blue River is positioned as a standard, high-performance, AI-oriented system, and its core direction is always smooth, safe, and smart.

In terms of smoothness, the Blue River kernel integrates multiple memory management algorithms to implement a hierarchical memory management architecture. The average memory allocation efficiency is increased by 34% and the recycling efficiency is increased by 25%. The new multimedia subsystem improves the rapid response of audio and video through self-developed encoding channels, encoding thread scheduling and low cache design; with the support of Blue River Smooth Engine, the original System 7 video clip exports 4K60 frame material in 10 minutes, with a speed increase of 16%.
