Indexation of insurance pensions in Russia in 2027 will take place in two stages

In 2027, a two-stage indexation scheme for insurance pensions will continue to operate in Russia - from February 1 and April 1.

From February 1, 2027, the fixed part of the insurance pension will increase by 4%, and the cost of one pension point will rise to 163.03 rubles, then from April 1 its size will increase to 168.57 rubles.

MOSCOW, September 12 - RIA Novosti. Old-age insurance pensions in 2027 will be increased on February 1 and April 1, 2027, Alexander Safonov, a professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, told RIA Novosti.

“In 2027, a two-stage indexation scheme for insurance pensions will continue to operate in Russia - from February 1 and April 1,” Safonov said.

He clarified that from February 1 next year, the fixed part of the insurance pension will increase by 4%, reaching 9,968.08 rubles. At the same time, the cost of one pension point will rise to 163.03 rubles, and during the second stage of indexation from April 1, its size will increase to 168.57 rubles.
