Inbee Park is a finalist for the 2027 World Golf Hall of Fame.

AFP reported on the 29th (Korean time) that Inbee Park, who won seven major tournaments, was included in the list of final candidates for the Hall of Fame along with world golf stars such as Christie Kerr (USA), Dottie Pepper (USA), Justin Rose (England), and Adam Scott (Australia).

Inbee Park won the 2013 Nabisco Championship (now the Chevron Championship), the 2013-2015 LPGA Championship (now the KPMG Women's PGA Championship), the 2008 and 2013 US Women's Open, and the 2015 Ricoh Women's British Open (now the AIG Women's Open), achieving a career grand slam by winning four different major tournaments.

In particular, in 2016, he participated in the golf event, which was revived after 116 years, at the Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics and won a gold medal, becoming the protagonist of the 'Golden Career Grand Slam'.

In order for Inbee Park to be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame, he must receive the approval of more than 75% of the 24-member selection committee.

The final selection results for the Hall of Fame will be announced in December, and the induction ceremony will be held in St. Andrews, Scotland, on July 12 next year, local time.
